To obtain a performance license, you must
first submit an application to
OVER THE MOUNTAIN MUSIC
c/o Deborah Brevoort.
An application for a license can also be in the form of a letter, provided you include the following information:
This information should be sent by mail or fax to OVER THE MOUNTAIN MUSIC on your organization's letterhead. The processing time for an application will take approximately 1-3 working days. At that time we will quote you a fee and issue you a license. If the terms of the license agreement are acceptable to your organization, sign the license and return it to OVER THE MOUNTAIN MUSIC with payment (see below). Once we have received your signed contract and the appropriate fees and deposit, rehearsal materials will be scheduled for shipment. Materials are normally shipped two months before your first performance. Once you have received written confirmation from us, you can proceed to plan and announce your production of King Island Christmas. There are three basic fees involved in licensing King Island Christmas:
A royalty must be paid whenever King Island Christmas is presented in front of an audience (whether admission is charged or not). This includes classroom presentations, benefits, or private shows. Royalty Information The rental fee covers the cost of librettos, vocal scores, piano/vocal conductor scores and individual orchestra parts. A Stage Director’s Manual is also available for rent. The scores provided by OVER THE MOUNTAIN MUSIC are the only authorized performance materials available for King Island Christmas and must be rented from us as a condition of the license. Rental Rate Information The security deposit will be refunded to you upon return of the rental materials to OVER THE MOUNTAIN MUSIC , minus any shipping/handling charges, outstanding balances, damage or loss of material. |
